What
Is Cowboy Action Shooting?
Cowboy Action Shooting is a shooting sport which revives the thrill and excitement of the "Old West". Put on your western hat and boots and relive the days of Buffalo Bill and Annie Oakley. A timed sport, shooting competitions are held in unique wild west stage settings of the 1800's with steel targets. Experience the fun and fellowship, the excitement, and the traditions of the American "Old Wild West"!. Is This Just A Local Sport? No, not at all. Cowboy Action Shooting is the fastest growing shooting sport in the country. There are shooting matches held all over. Is There A National Organization Which Sets The Rules? The Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) is an international organization to promote the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting. SASS promotes rules and procedures to ensure the safety and consistency in shooting matches. Can Anyone Join And Come To Matches?
